Kate Jopling is an attorney, writer, and eternal proponent of the Oxford comma. She lives in the Rocky Mountains with her family, including two energetic dogs who often insist on long hikes in the snow when Kate should be writing or honing her (admittedly still amateur) chess skills. Every Pawn a Queen is her first published novel.
